There are 5000 chickens, ducks, geese and sheep in Fuyu farm, 5% of which are sheep, 40% of which are chickens, 25% of which are ducks and 30% of which are geese Q: (1) how many percent more chickens than ducks? (2) how many percent less sheep than geese?

(1)
How many chickens and ducks are there?
Chicken: 5000 * 40% = 2000
Duck: 5000 * 25% = 1250
How many percent more 2000 chickens than 1250 ducks?
(2000-1250)/1250=60%
In fact, it can be done as follows:
(40%-25%)÷25%
=15%÷25%
=60%
(2)
How many sheep and geese are there first?
Sheep: 5000 * 5% = 250
Geese: 5000 * 30% = 1500
How many percent less 250 sheep than 1500 geese?
(1500-250)÷1500
=1250÷1500
≈83.3%
Or (30% - 5%) / 30%
=25%÷30%
≈83.3%
