1. Most verbs directly add - ing at the end of the word, such as: go going, work working, study studying, look looking, do doing, eat eating, play playing, read reading, clip clipping
2. For some verbs ending with silent e, we need to remove E and add - ing, such as: make making, write writing, come coming, make – making, take taking, have having, dance dancing,
If the end of the e pronunciation, can not be removed, such as: see - seeing
3. For verbs ending in stressed closed syllables with only one consonant at the end, double write the consonant and add - ing. For example: run running, swim swimming, sit – sitting, put – putting, begin – beginning, hit hitting
