Factorization: (x + 1) (x + 2) (x + 3) (x + 4) + 100 There is this question on the Internet... I asked it just because I thought it couldn't be 100, so I couldn't figure it out

Factorization: (x + 1) (x + 2) (x + 3) (x + 4) + 100 There is this question on the Internet... I asked it just because I thought it couldn't be 100, so I couldn't figure it out

Original formula = [(x + 1) (x + 4)] [(x + 2) (x + 3)] + 100
=[x²+5x+4][x²+5x+6]+100
Let y = x & sup2; + 5x + 4,
Then the original formula = y (y + 2) + 100
=y²+2y+100
Are you right in your question?
It can't be + 100
