arrive動詞“到達”（後面可以接here或者there，不能接具體的地點）
arrive in動詞短語“到達”（後面會接上一個較大概念的名詞，例如arrive in Beijing；arrive in the US等）
arrive at動詞短語“到達”（後面會接上一個較小概念的名詞，例如arrive at the restaurant等）
從上面的例子可以總結，arrive為不及物動詞，特徵是加具體地點名詞的時候要先加介詞.
另外一個有“到達”之意的動詞是reach則是及物動詞.不用加介詞，可以直接加表示地點的名詞.請看例句：
