Where should the 1440444 AND be in the process of expressing numbers?
And last digit
When do English numbers use AND? Not sure. I forgot it. All I know is that you have to use it. What about the thousand? Like 1234. Like 2008. Looks like I remember reading 1234 one thousand, two hundred and thirty four But I seem to hear 2008 read as two thousand and eight. Did I hear you wrong? What should I do? An empty unit? That means multiple 0s? Should 2012 read two thousand and twelve?
Only one hundred and ten people could use the "and"
for example:
1234:One thousand two hundred and thirty - Four.
But if the hundredth place was zero, then the thousandth place and the tenth place would add up.
E.g:
2008:two thousand and eight.
Only between 100 and 10.
for example:
1234:One thousand two hundred and thirty - four.
But if a hundred is zero, add and.
E.g:
2008:two thousand and eight.
Only between 100 and 10.
for example:
1234:One thousand two hundred and thirty - four.
But if a hundred is zero, then a thousand plus ten plus and.
E.g:
2008:two thousand and eight.
