How to measure the density of edible oil

How to measure the density of edible oil

1. Measure the total mass of small beaker and edible oil (M1) with the adjusted balance;
2. Pour an appropriate amount of edible oil in the beaker into the measuring cylinder, and measure the volume (V) of edible oil in the measuring cylinder;
3. Measure the total mass (M2) of the remaining cooking oil and small beaker with a balance
4, calculate the density of edible oil: ρ = m / v = (m1-m2) / v

Density of edible oil

0.8 x 10 3 kg / m3 (0.8 x 10 cubic kg / m3) o.8 g / cm 3 (0.8 g / cm3)

The density of edible oil is as follows:

Peanut oil density: 0.9110 to 0.9180
Density of soybean oil: 0.9150 to 0.9375
