How to calculate the DC resistance of electric furnace wire? Well, under rated working conditions, what is the current of 220v3000w AC furnace wire? If you add 220V DC, what are the power and current? Inductance needs to be considered. Because I want to calculate and intercept a section of power for 110V discharge, up to 1000W.

Because electric power is equal to the square of voltage divided by resistance P = u * U / R
So the DC resistance of the electric furnace wire
R = u * U / P = 220 * 220 / 3000 = 16.1 ohm
electric current
I=P/U=3000/220=13.6A
Alternating current is the effective value of the calculation
If you add 220 V DC, its power and current are the same
Direct current works like electric furnace wire
If a section is intercepted for 110V discharge, the power can reach 1000W
R = u * U / P = 110 * 110 / 1000 = 12.1 ohm
Only need to cut 12.1 ohm resistance wire
(the inductance is very small, so it can not be considered.)

The equivalent resistance of two wires connected in parallel is 5. Calculate the resistance of each wire

R=R1R2/(R1+R2)
5=R1R2/(R1+R2)
5R1+5R2=R1R2
Any r1r2 that satisfies this equation is OK
