The wolf and the sheep
A wolf had been badly wounded bydogs.Helay sick and maimed in his lair.

The crow and the pitcher
A crow felt verythirsty.Helooked for watereverywhere.Finally，he found a pitcher.
But there was not a lot of water in thepitcher.Hisbeak could not reachit.Hetried again and again，but still could not touch the water.
When he was about to give up，an idea came tohim.Hetook a pebble and dropped it into thepitcher.Thenhe took another and dropped it in.
Gradually，the water rose，and the crow was able to drink the water.

The cage bird and the bat
A bird was confined in a cage outside awindow.Sheoften sang at night when all other birds were asleep.
