Given that F X is an odd function, G x is an even function and f (x) - Gx = x2 + 3x + 2, then FX + Gx =?

solution
F (x) is an odd function
∴f(-x)=-f(x)
∵ g (x) is an even function
∴g(-x)=g(x)
∵f(x)-g(x)=x^2+3x+2
∴f(-x)-g(-x)=(-x)^2+3(-x)+2=x^2-3x+2
That is - f (x) - G (x) = x ^ 2-3x + 2
∴f(x)+g(x)=-x^2+3x-2
